Mode HiDPI, hidden in operational systems, and Mountain Lion, is now also supported. It allows you to increase the possible resolution of the screen twice. To enable this feature on the iPad its owners will have to pass  on their Mac-systems  in the settings section and select a screen resolution of 1024×768 (HiDPI).
