Recently CNES reported that Taiwan component suppliers revealed that the iPhone 5 release date might be sooner than most people expect. Most rumors up to this point expected the device to launch in October but no it seems that it has changed to August. This will allow apple to capitalize on the “Back to school” market.
It seems that Hon Hai will be the assembly firm while other components will be delivered from other Taiwanese suppliers.
The iPhone 5 is rumored to have improved Siri functionality a thinner body and of course the larger screen. Other rumored features are a NCF for google a wallet like payment system and a smaller dock connector to help fight all the cheap and fake accessories that make uses of the current connector.
As always this is just a rumor and could very well all be wrong but seeing as the iPhone 4s was not a true successor to the iPhone 4 I will not be surprised if this is true. Stay tuned to keep up to date will all the latest news about the iPhone 5.
