HTC may have acquired MOG, a music streaming service

Although our land is not known too, because of its availability exclusively for USA , MOG , with 500,000 subscribers, is one of the smaller competitors that make face-to Spotify in the broad market ofstreaming music . Apparently, and according to some sources indicate, HTC could have bought MOG , thus taking the step to embark on this type of service, as have many of its competitors and other companies.

The buyer of MOG itself would not be the HTC , but its subsidiary Beats Audio . The agreement could have been agreed in recent weeks, according to the primary source has leaked the rumor. There were intense rumors sales MOG for months, but its CEO , David Hyman , denied any plans to sell in February. For now, from MOG , neither have commented on this sale possible and important.

Apparently, HTC is planning its own music subscription service for their devices for quite some time, so this purchase, if a real event, would have enough sense. The truth is that if you think about it carefully, many consumers do not consider really need this new “boom” music subscription service (with one platform would suffice), but it seems that companies are finding a new addition to its essential products.
