I have tried loads of remote control software and I find that Teamviewer is one of the very best. One of its main benefits is how easy it is to set up. You download the program to your pc an run it (you dont even have to install it), then it gives you your id and password.

Now you install the Teamviewer app on your ios or android device and insert the id and password that is shown on your pc. And that is it now you will be able to control your pc right from you mobile device.

Personally I use my iPad for this and it works amazing.
